


This picture of Longs Peak was taken below the treeline, about halfway
up the trail. It was still warm and sunny.

By the time we got closer to the summit, it was starting to get cloudy

The last bit of the trail was quite rocky, as you can see
The eastern plains, stretching way out past Thompson Canyon
Here we are at the summit. Elevation is about 11,400 ft. It was really
cold.
It's me!
Longs Peak from the summit. The clouds make it look much more ominous
than in the picture taken on the way up.
