Etchings by Herbert L. Fink

I met Herb Fink around 1985 while I was a student at Southern Illinois University.
(I am sure he does not remember this :-)

The following prints are from my personal collection.

Herbert Fink graduated from Yale University in 1958 with a Masters of Fine Arts.
He taught art at both Yale and at the Rhode Island School of Design from 1958 to 1961.
Herbert Fink became Chair of the Art Department at Southern Illinois University in 1961.

Herbert Fink has received the Chaloner Fellowship, the Tiffany Award, the Guggenheim Fellowship
and the Ford Foundation Purchase Award. He was named a Trustee of the Tiffany Foundation
as well as the John R. and Eleonor R. Mitchell Foundation.
Fink was elected to the National Academy of Design and was the
Visual Artist of the Year for the State of Illinois in 1986.
