Bio-sketch

Sangmi Pallickara is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Colorado State University. She received her Masters and PhD in Computer Science from Syracuse University and Florida State University respectively. Prior to joining CSU, she was also a Postdoctoral fellow in the Computer Science department at Indiana University. Her research interests are in the area of Big Data for the sciences with an emphasis on issues related to storage, retrievals, analytics, and visualization.
