Bio Sketch Iman Hajirasouliha is a Post Doctoral Research Associate of Computer Science and Center for Computational Molecular Biology at Brown University. His research focuses on computational genomics, large-scale sequence analysis, and analyzing intra-tumor heterogeneity in cancer. Iman received his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Sharif University and his M.Sc. in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University (SFU). In January 2008, he moved to the lab for computational biology at SFU and obtained his Ph.D. in 2012, with Exceptional Recognition from the external reviewer. During his Ph.D., Iman was also a student collaborator at Canada's Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre and a visiting scholar at the Department of Genome Sciences, University of Washington. He is a participant in the 1000 Genomes Project. Iman received an NSERC Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarship (CGS-D).
