REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR

IN COMPUTER SCIENCE (EFFECTIVE Fall 2006)

Minor in Computer Science:

To complete a minor in computer science you must complete 12 (twelve) advanced hours in regular computer science courses (numbered 300 or above at CSU, exluding independent study, practicum, and research credit). In completing these courses you must also:

1) follow all prerequisites (including prerequisites of prerequisites);

2) receive a "C" or better in all Computer Science courses and their prerequisites.

Most minor plans require at least 4 semesters due to the prerequisite structure. Click here for an undergraduate core prerequisite chart.
