Overlap of People and Images in Common FERET Partitions |

The tables below indicate how many people and images are shared in common between the commonly used training, gallery and probe sets. The first two tables list absolute numbers of images overlapping, and the second two the percent overlap. Observe the first two are symmetric tables, as expected, and the latter two are not. There is no overlap between probe pairs of probe sets, except in the case of Dup I and Dup II, where Dup II is a proper subset of Dup I. There is substantial overlap between the training imagery and the gallery images.
