Mission

Upsilon Pi Epsilon is an honor society for the Computing Sciences. It was founded in 1967 to recognize scholarship and professionalism and is the only international honor society for this discipline. It is officially recognized by ACM as well as IEEE Computer Society.

  1. 1st year UPE student members get the ACM student power package free.

  2. UPE student members can apply for several scholarships.

The application for starting a new chapter was approved in Spring 2001. The charter ceremony will be held on  January 25, 2002. Dr. James Comer, member of the UPE Executive Council will perform the ceremony.

The local chapter will become an official student organization of CSU once the chartering ceremony is over.
