Lab Assignment 8: Group Projects

The purpose of this assignment is to

• have you work in assigned groups
• put together a group Web page

We have added the web pages for all participants

  to the Student Pages page

Nevertheless, you can continue to improve your page

  as long as your group project page comes first in priority

Instructions

• Printing out this page:
  1. Remember to print out this Web page using lp -d flute

• Picking a Project
  1. You need to pick a project that both group members agree upon

  2. The project page can (and probably should) be
       on a different topic than your personal Web page

• Planning your Project
  1. First, you need to discuss possible project topics
       with your groupmate(s)

  2. Once the topic is chosen,
       spend some time designing the Web page on paper

  3. When the design is fairly clear,
       you can both start working on the project itself
     Try to split the work between you

• Project Requirements
  1. Your project should include at least one page with frames
       This page can be on of the group members' personal pages

  2. Your project page should include links
       to the personal pages of all members of the group

  3. Your project page should include at least one image

  4. Your project page should include a background image
       or a background color

  5. Remember that your project is to be presented
       to the class on Friday
