Polycom is hosting a contest for their new API for their RealPresence Platform.

They are looking for summer interns and have put together a programming competition that will be fun and challenging. Come learn about what their contest entails and about the company!

Who: Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin will be presenting a basic overview of its company during their employer session. They will discuss various business units, projects, and career opportunities for both interns and full time applicants. Students are encouraged to bring their resumes; Lockheed Martin may conduct interviews.

Febuary 29

Who: Rideorama

Rideorama is a local start-up looking to make transportation more efficient. They'll discuss the website Rideorama, its core features and why they created it. They will also discuss the programming and business side of creating our startup as well as resources your membership can use when thinking through that process.
If you've ever thought about starting a company this is a must see presentation!

Who: Total Benchmark Solutions

Total Benchmark Solutions is a small Fort Collins based company working to positively impact the well-being of patients, communities, and caregivers by providing benchmarks that empower healthcare providers to improve performance in their ongoing journey to achieve standards of excellence. Three CSU Grads and the companies founder will be discussing who their company, what they do, and who they are. Total Benchmark Solutions is looking for Summer Interns!

Who: Chris Campbell

Topic: Wireless Security, or lack there of

This week at ACM Chris Campbell will be talking about the security of wireless networks.
Find out the ins and outs of wireless security. What makes wireless networks vulnerable? How do you defend yourself against unwanted intruders. There will also be a live demo where we will recover the passkeys used for a control network.

Who: Alex Norton

Topic: Code obfuscation: How NOT to program

This week at ACM Alex Norton will be talking about obfuscated C.
Have you even written code so horrifying nobody could read it? If so the The International Obfuscated C Code Contest is for you. Once a year coders send in the most illegible code they can possibly fathom. Alex will walk you through some of the obfuscated programs he has written, and show you some neat tricks you can do.

January 25

Who: Bill Jackson from Raytheon

Topic: Cyber Threats

Bill Jackson from Raytheon will be discussing cyber-threats that his industry is currently facing, including examples of satellites that have been attacked. He will also discuss standard duties that Raytheon's Information Assurance personnel carry out with an emphasis on things students can learn or try on their own.

He will follow up with some of Raytheon's plans for hiring and training security specialists, point out where to find job requisitions, and discuss skill sets they are seeking. There will be a question and answer session following the presentation.

He will return on February 6th for on-campus screenings.
