February 27 Who: Loopster/Jimmy Cox iOS App/Health Care Software Next week's ACM, we will have two speakers: - Loopster is a free online video editor about to release their iPhone/iPad app. They will be coming to share their technology with us and give a technical talk about their new development. - Jimmy Cox will be coming to talk about the work behind developing healthcare software in his technical talk. February 20 Who: Owen Armstrong Dynamic DNS This week's ACM, we will have a talk from Owen, ACM President: "What's a dynamic DNS and how can it help me? Come to ACM next week and learn how to connect to your home network remotely. Stick around and learn how to set up a source game server on your own machine." Who: ACM Officers App Development and Ideas and Stuff The ACM Officers would like to thank everyone who attended Jerry Nixon's talk last week! We had a great turnout. Thank you all for being patient despite some setbacks and we hope that it was a good learning experience for those of you who were able to stay for at least most of the time! For people who left before it was over, Jerry started talking about some really awesome app development that you can do in Visual Studio, so this week's ACM will be focused on that! There will be no formal speaker this week, so please come and take the opportunity to work on developing any app ideas you have with the support of other ACM members. Thad will have some ideas prepared for people who want to try their hand at programming an app, but don't have an idea for one yet. We encourage anyone to come so that we can all help each other! Bring your laptops and power cords and be ready to work! :) As always, pizza and soda will be provided. We hope to see you there!
