Dues

Because ACM is a student organization, there are several restrictions on what dues can be applied to. In summary:

• Food at meetings.
  • Does not include tipping.
• Visiting lecturers, including:
  • Their time.
  • Their food.
  • Their lodgings.
• Fundraising:
  • Cannot have prizes of any sort.
  • Must include sales tax collection on tangible goods.
  • These new funds will have the same restrictions in use as dues do.

At present, ACM spends dues are used exclusively for food. If you have an alternative suggestion, please email us.
