PuTTY: A Free Win32 Telnet/SSH Client, a better telnet for Windows,
GNU Emacs FAQ For Windows 95/98/ME, and 2000,
XEmacs, another version of emacs that has developed in parallel to the GNU version,
Cygwin tools:The Cygwin tools are ports of the popular GNU development tools and utilities for Windows 95, 98, and NT. They function by using the Cygwin library which provides a UNIX-like API on top of the Win32 API.
