July With David -- We took a trip to the northwest. Went to Sligo and visited the Sligo Abbey which isn't really an Abby but there is a current Sligo Friary so they call it an abbey to avoid confusion. Bram Stoker's mother grew up in Sligo and told her son about the cholera epidemics when it was difficult to tell when a person had died.
