Bioinformatics Retreat

Join us for a retreat aimed at bringing together CSU life science, bioinformatics, and computational scientists. Our goals are to:

Meet each other so we can get to know who on campus has interest and expertise in bioinformatics
Learn about the bioinformatics related research on campus
See if your computational expertise matches the needs of life sciences researchers
Discuss how to promote bioinformatics research and education at CSU

The retreat begins at noon with a lunch address by Lawrence Hunter, followed by short talks and a panel in which we will discuss how to advance bioinformatics research at CSU. The full schedule is here.

The event is open to all faculty, staff and students at CSU. Lunch will be provided. If you are planning to attend, please RSVP by following this link by November 10th.

CSU's ISTeC (Information Science & Technology Center) is a university-wide organization for promoting, facilitating, and enhancing CSU's research, education, and outreach activities pertaining to the design and innovative application of computer, communication, and information systems.
