I am Aritra, presently a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science of Colorado State University. I am working under the supervision of Dr. Sudipto Ghosh. I am a member of the Software Engineering Research Group.

My primary research interest is software fault localization. Fault localization refers to the process of automatically identifying the set of program statements that may contain the fault in a faulty program. An effective fault localization can significantly narrow down the search domain for the fault and thus can hasten the debugging process. I am presently investigating the effectiveness of the existing fault localization approaches in localizing different classes of faults. Earlier, I also worked on model-based test input generation and random test input generation for object oriented programs.

I obtained my MS in Computer Science from Colorado State University in 2009. My masters thesis was Test Input Generation from UML Design Models I finished my Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India.
