Wenxiang Chen

Biography

Wenxiang Chen was born in Quanzhou, an amazing coastal city referred as "City of Light" in China. He is currently a second-year graduate student at the Computer Science Department of Colorado State University. His research focus includes Evolutionary Computation, Stochastic Local Search, Numerical Optimization and GPU computing. Before joining in CSU, he was an undergraduate research member of Nature Inspired Computation and Application Laboratory (NICAL) from July 2009 to July 2011. He obtained bachelor degree in Computer Science from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in July 2011.
