Tcpslice, tcptrace, tcpreplay, tcpflow, ntop and other useful traffic analysis tools can be found here.

Packit - Packet Network Injection tool. Use it to craft and inject arbitrary packets in the network.
Nistnet - a network emulation package. Use it to change bandwidth loss and delay on network links.
Nmap - a powerfull, free network scanner.
Nessus - another popular security scanner
