The CS122 course has been developed to allow students that skip CS160 to still get the necessary Discrete Mathematics that is taught in CS160. This course covers the following topics:

  • sets and functions
  • propositions and predicates
  • inference rules
  • proof techniques
  • program verification.

CS122 is a 1 credit course. This fall it is a five week course.

Inference Rules sheets will be provided for the Thursday Sep 10 CS 122 exam. However, you will not be required to give names to inference rules.
CS 122 exam #1 format will be a combination of true/false questions, multiple choice questions, and short answers.
