Description: Algorithms, mathematical induction, graphs and trees, counting methods, sets, functions, difference equations, recursion, probability, introduction to mathematical logic.

Prerequisite: CS151 or CS153, M124. Credit not allowed for both M/CS201 and M/CS166.

Textbook: Kenneth H. Rosen, Discrete Mathematics and Its Applications, 6th edition, McGraw-Hill (2006/7), ISBN 0-07-331271-1.
