Lab: Canvas

Overview:

Canvas is an HTML element that is used to contain graphics. We will be using a Canvas element in our web pages and draw on it using JavaScript.

Materials

• Assignment PDF
• Canvas Examples
• HTML skeleton (left-click this link)

Instructions

• Open up the PDF which is linked in the Materials section
• Work through this PDF
• Make sure your web page has a completed drawing using Canvas, which you have modified in a meaningful way
• Show an instructor or class helper to get checked off

Submission

Once you have completed the lab, submit the JavaScript file with your Canvas drawing to Canvas, in the assignment titled Canvas Lab, and leave the name of the person who checked you off in the comment section.
