Lab HTML
Instructions:
Begin creating a fun web page about you and your interests. Today's lab should begin to meet
some of the requirements
for the class required web pages.

To get started:
- Bring up a terminal window
cd ~/public_html
- edit (use editor such as gedit) your
index.html
(be sure to put the editor in the background, i.e. gedit index.html &
) and save changes
- bring up a browser and see what it looks like, url will be:
http://www.cs.colostate.edu/~your_login_name
- Make a few changes at a time and then refresh your browser to see results
- images for your web site should be a reference to the URL or saved as a file in your public_html directory.
Remember to make your image readable by all.
Over the next 4 weeks, your website should grow to include
- Something about you
- At least one image
- At least two different web pages that you can traverse
between without use of the "back arrow"
- Some use of color and varied fonts
- Links to other sites
- Links or other display of your javascript
- Some kind of table or form
- Working JavaScript program (will be covered in later lab)
- Graphics image that you create (will be covered in later lab)
- CSS (will be covered in later lab)
- Navigation bar (will be covered in later lab)
- Have perfect spelling and grammar
Remember your website must be in good taste and follow university guidelines.
Submission
Before the end of the lab, show one of the instructors your web page. Submit the URL to your web page
and who reviewed your webpages to the assignment titled HTML Lab on Canvas.
