Write a proposal on what you would like to do for your major project this semester.
Check the major project tab on the course website for ideas. You do not need to select an idea from the course website; however, your project must relate to computer science or towards determining what your major will be. Ensure that your project will be fun and that you are learning something new. The more thought you put into the proposal, the more likely you will be successful with it.
You are welcome to discuss ideas with us or with former students during scheduled office hours, during Wednesday labs, by scheduling an appointment with one of us, or electronically via email. We encourage you to submit early.
Your major project proposal must include ALL of the following information:
The proposal may be in paragraph or bullet list format and should be approximately one half page single spaced or one page double spaced. We encourage "proposal" rather than the bulleted list style.
Note that your topic must be approved by a course instructor in order for you to earn points for this assignment. If the topic is not approved, the assignment will be returned and you will be required to discuss the topic with a course instructor within a week of the due date.
Submit via ramct. We will then provide feedback and let you know if we accept your proposal.
