Question 1: What is my goal for programming assignments?
To get them done quickly and correctly, and with as much cooperation as possible.
Question 2: What are my strengths?
I work well with other people.
Question 3: What are my weaknesses?
Dealing with work at the last minute. I'd rather start working on it early.
Question 4: I like to a) get tasks done early. b) procrastinate. c) set my schedule based on weekly demands. d) be flexible about assignment deadlines.
I'd prefer to get them done early, but my schedule is pretty flexible apart from one weekend a month when I have Navy Reserve drill.
Question 5: What do I like to do for fun?
I'm usually content with a quiet night of video games, Netflix, and good food (beer if I'm allowed to sleep in the next day!).
Question 6: Describe your communication style.
Efficient. I'm quick to respond to texts/emails/phonecalls.
Question 7: Describe the characteristics of a good partner.
Good communication is probably the most important to me. It helps prevent hiccups in tasking and scheduling.
Question 8: Describe the characteristics of a bad partner.
I'd prefer somebody that would cooperate on tasks, instead of each person tackling a different part. I feel that this helps both people fully understand the concepts of the assignment.
Question 9: My best open times to meet with a CS 200 parter (including recitation times) are:
Afternoons and evenings work best for me. Most weekends work as well, however I have one weekend a month where I'm obligated to drill down at Buckly Air Force Base for the Navy Reserves.
