Question 0: What is my code name?

Kapok

Question 1: What is my goal for programming assignments?

My goal is to practice object-oriented programming and get good grades!

Question 2: What are my strengths?

I am good at debugging code, structuring classes, and working with loops/recursion.

Question 3: What are my weaknesses?

I tend to write everything at once, and then test. Also, sometimes I don't have time to start an assignment until later in the week.

Question 4: I like to a) get tasks done early. b) procrastinate. c) set my schedule based on weekly demands. d) be flexible about assignment deadlines.

c) and d) as long as the "flexibility" doesn't make our assignment late.

Question 5: What do I like to do for fun?

I watch TV shows, play Civ 5, go biking or running, and I like going out for drinks with friends.

Question 6: Describe your communication style.

I like meeting in person after working separately on modular parts of the assignment. Phone conversations work as well. Email is a slow death.

Question 7: Describe the characteristics of a good partner.

Well, an understanding of good code practices, an eagerness to troubleshoot problems, and an ability to compromise/discuss approaches to coding obstacles.

Question 8: Describe the characteristics of a bad partner.

Lack of personal responsibility, unreadable code, no desire to write things correctly instead of adequately.

Question 9: My best open times to meet with a CS 200 parter (including recitation times) are:

Probably after 7 PM on weekdays or weekends. I'm a busy person!

Question 10: Any additional comments should be made here.

Well, I usually write code in VB.net or C++, so Java has been an adaptation. I don't mind if we're on different levels of coding skill, as long as my partner tries their best and I do too!
