CS253 HW1: Hello there!

Description

Write a C++ program called initial.cc that converses with the user, as illustrated in the sample runs.

Sample Runs

Here are several sample runs, where % is my prompt. Your output must match exactly.

Your age? 55
You were born in 1958, more or less.

Requirements

Your program may assume that the current year is 2013.
Assume that the user’s birthday has passed already (that’s why the “more or less” is in the output).
The age is an integral value.
There is no maximum length for the name.
Your program must include and use a function compute_year() that returns, as a function value, an integer birth year, given an integer age.
No error-checking need be performed on the input. For example, you may assume that the user actually types in an integral age.
Your homework must compile without errors. If it doesn’t, you get ZERO for the assignment.
Your output must look exactly like the sample runs. Be precise about spelling—it’s not your place to alter what the prompts or output look like. Spaces count. If your output doesn’t match, that makes the TA’s job harder, and that’s not really in your best interest. Also, you’ll lose points.

If you have any questions about the requirements, ask. In the real world, your programming tasks will almost always be vague and incompletely specified. Same here.
