Overall, we expect that this course will require 2-3 hours outside class for every hour in lab/class.
Assignments: See here for the late and regrade policy regarding assignments.
Exams & Quizzes: Make-up exams are only given in extraordinary circumstances (e.g., illness, death of family member). Documentation will be required for the absence to be excused per department policy. Students must consult with the instructor as soon as possible, preferably before the start of the exam. Course examination dates are listed in the website; be aware of them and plan accordingly.
Extra credit may be offered in this course, if so it will be offered to everyone equally.
Your TA will be responsible for grading the assignments, and labs. If you have an issue with your grading, talk with the TA first, then to your instructor if you still disagree. Please do not post a message on the discussion board about your grade.
Exams may be subject to a curve based on the class performance. Assignments and quizzes will not be curved.
