In this class, you will be responsible for discussion assignments (among other assignments) on a regular basis. Discussion assignments require you to research and post and a reply to a topic assigned in class. These assignments will be posted to a small group of students in your discussion group (the target is 3 students per group).
Every person in the group is required to post an intial answer to the problem being posed. Once everyone has commented, the group is required to create a consensus statement. This consensus should be posted to the appropriate thread in the main discussion group. The threads will be created by the TA.
We have set up a sign up sheet for students to join groups. This sign up sheet can be found on the main content page in RamCT. You should go join one of those groups - feel free to join with your friends, but you should join a group within the first couple of days so you can participate in the first discussion assignment.
Once your group is filled out, you should choose a new name for your discussion group. Once your discussion group has come to a consensus - post your selected name to the thread I have created in the Main Discussion Board and I will make the changes.
