Advanced topics in concurrency, deadlock protection, scheduling, computer system modeling, virtual memory management, distributed and interprocess communication, distributed transactions and computations, and distributed system design from the operating systems viewpoint.


 

This is an online course being offered during the full twelve weeks of the 2014 summer session.
This course is not self-paced.
Various types of assignments are due throughout the twelve weeks, including a take-home final exam.

  The RamCT (BlackboardLearn) portion of the course opens Monday 19 May 2014.
The course finishes up on Friday 8 August 2014.

The main part of the course is within RamCT (BlackboardLearn): CS 551 DL.

You must have a CSU electronic ID (eID) in order to access the RamCT (BlackboardLearn) pages.

You must also be formally registered in the course.

Caution: Make sure to logout of RamCT (BlackboardLearn) when finished with a RamCT (BlackboardLearn)session.
