Research

I am interested in human vision, and in understanding how to build artificial systems that emulate human vision. Human vision is general-purpose and adaptable. We did not evolve to watch television, drive cars at high speeds, or pick out our car from dozens of identical cars in a parking lot, yet our vision system supports all three. It learns and adapts, but how?
