GTA Scheduling Concerns
- Last minute
- People wanted more warning
- Yes/No on getting a TA position
- Hard to schedule at the last minute
- What position did they get
- GTA Assignment Process:
  - Respond to first note: Yes!
  - Try to have a faculty sponsor you: One Grad student per faculty member
  - Respond promptly to second note: What do you want to TA
    - Don't just say you want one
    - Provide a list of Class Numbers ordered by preference and in tiers of preference and expected schedule
  - GRA funding complicates matters (last minute shuffling)
  - TAs paid for: Wednesday before classes to the time grades are posted
  - Post tentative assignments sooner and electronically
  - Take posted class schedules into account when sending class priority list
  - Consider schedule of multiple TAs per course into assignments -> Dale ask for students schedules along with class priorities
