Prototype Model

Without manual selection of features, the prototype proposes automated objective hurricane prediction model based on support vector machine. Raw data, Global Forecast System (GFS) analysis from CIRA, are directly used after concatenating vectors on the same 2D grid cell to predict the 2D location and ignore the heights of hurricanes.
