Monica Chawathe

Graduate Student
601 South Howes Street
Fort Collins
CO 80523.

I am currently a graduate student at the Department of Computer Science, Colorado State University. I completed my Masters in Summer '00 and am now working towards my Ph.D. I am planning on defending in January '06!! I did my undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering at Vivekanand Education Soceity's Institute of technology (V.E.S.I.T.) which is affiliated to University of Mumbai.

I am currently as a part of the Cameron project at C.S.U. My current work is related to the inclusion of non-strict data structures (like streams) in the SA-C language and mapping it in Abstract Hardware Architecture (AHA) graphs (that are then mapped on reconfigurable hardware). We are currently working with the AlphaData, WildStar, StarFire FPGA boards.

In the past I have worked on VHDL code generation from an intermediate dataflow graph (DFG) representation of the high level language (SA-C) code. The generated VHDL code is mapped onto reconfigurable FPGA boards. (We are working with the WildStar board).

My advisor is Professor A.P.W. Bohm.
