Solution to Challenge 3 bonus problem, Fall '03
If x is the age of the child, then x+21 is the age
of the mother, and x+21+6 = 5(x+6). Solving for x, we get that the
child is -9 months old. This invited a number of
rude and amusing comments about the whereabouts of the father
that I had best not dwell on here.
