Bio Sketch

Shiv Mishra is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the
University of Colorado Boulder. He is a co-founder of the CU
CyberSafety Research Center with a goal to make the Internet safer for
its users. His research interests are in the areas of distributed
systems and networking with current focus on cybersafety, pervasive
computing, context awareness, power management and mobile social
networks. Shiv received his PhD degree in computer science from the
University of Arizona, Tucson, and BTech degree in Computer Science
and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
