Bachelor of Science

The department offers a bachelors degree with a choice of two majors: our traditional BS in Computer Science program and our popular Applied Computing Technology (ACT) program, which allows students to customize their BS degree in one of three concentration areas.

Combined BS/MS Program

This program allows talented CSU students interested in computer science research to enroll in the CS graduate program and complete graduate courses while finishing their undergraduate degrees.

Master of Science

This is a research masters degree requiring a thesis developed in close consultation with a faculty member along with advanced computer science courses.

Master of Computer Science

This is a non-thesis professional degree consisting of coursework only. This degree requires 9 advanced computer science courses. The MCS may be completed partially or completely online.

Master of Computer Science (Online Degree)

This is our popular, highly-ranked, online masters degree program.

Doctor of Philosophy

This is a research degree combining advanced coursework, research, and a dissertation advancing the frontiers of computer science knowledge.
