Late Periods

• The late period on homework is 24 hours. It was different last semester.

eID ⇒ NetID

• Your eID will now be called a NetID.

SSID

• The Campus wireless network name, or SSID, has changed from CSU-eid to CSU-Net.

VPN

• As of July 2022, the GlobalProtect VPN is required to access CS Dept. computers (e.g., columbia.cs.colostate.edu) from off-campus. You need to set up a VPN before creating a terminal session to CS Dept. computers, or to copying files to/from CS Dept. computers.
• You need a VPN before using:
  • ssh
  • scp
  • PuTTY
  • MobaXterm
  • any other terminal or file copying software.
• You must use the GlobalProtect VPN software, not the old Pulse Secure software.
