After groups have been created, introduce yourself to your discussion group and agree on a creative name for your discussion group. Post the name on Piazza.
Discuss what you learnt in Lab 0. What alternative note-taking strategies work for you? What doesn't work? Any feedback you can provide? Submit a short report in Piazza.
Eventually, we will be using the ISTEC Cray during this course, and you need to request an account. Please go to http://istec.colostate.edu/activities/cray and fill out the account request form. Include CS475 in the "Affiliation" field.
Discuss echeduling constraints with your group-mates and converge on a timeline for the lab-discussions. Most online students have full time jobs and tend to work in the evenings and weekends. Therefore a Friday noon submission may be inconvenient. Some students may have other constraints. We will adjust the deadline based on student feedback for subsequent lab/discssions.
