Algorithmic Biology (793.001)
The Algorithmic Biology Lab is lead by Hamid Chitsaz. Not offered Fall 2020.
Brain-Computer Interfaces (793.002)
Chuck Anderson is leads a group focused on Brain-Computer Interfaces. Not offered Fall 2020.
Communicating with Computers (793.003)
Ross Beveridge, Nate Blanchard, Nikhi Krishnaswamy and Francisco Ortega are leading a group this semester focused on Human Centered Computing, Natural Language and Computer Vision. These topics are brought together under the broader umbrella of developing better ways for people and computers to communicate. The group meets Mondays from 3:00 to 4:00 PM through Zoom. Computer Science Education (793.004)
Ross Beveridge and Sudipto Ghosh are overseeing a group focusing on the intersection between Computer Science and Education. Meetings are still being scheduled for Fall 2020.
Distributed Systems and Big Data (793.009)
Shrideep Pallickara and Sangmi Pallickara lead the Distributed Systems and Big Data groups. Meetings are on Tuesdays at 5:00 pm for Fall 2020.
High Performance Computing (793.005)
The Mélange group, led by Sanjay Rajopadhye and Louis-Noël Pouchet meets Tuesday from 9:30AM to 10:30AM.

Machine Learning for Computational Biology (793.010)
Asa Ben-Hur lis leading a group exploring the recent literature on applications of machine as related to bioinformatics. Not offered Fall 2020.
Formal Methods for Safe AI (793.006)
Vinayak Prabhu is leading the group on integrating formal methods techniques (logics, automata) with machine learning in Cyber-Physical Systems. Meetings: Fridays 2:00-3:30pm.
Security (793.007)
Indrakshi Ray and Indrajit Ray are leading a group this semester that covers cutting edge topics in Computer Security and its application to various cyber, cyber physical, cyber social and cyber physical social systems. Software Engineering (793.008)
Sudipto Ghosh and Laura Moreno lead a group focused on all areas of software engineering. The group meets Mondays every other week from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Microsoft Teams. The first meeting will be on August 31. H Here is the Weekly Schedule.
