Good for short examples and confined pages, but putting style in the HTML defines it for the whole document, so it's situational. (would define style for all tables)

I found this example to be very helpful when studying for the first midterm, being able to explode the string and count how many words are in a file was a significant step in beginning to understand file I/O in php for me.
