dosto dekhaa tamaashaa yaaNakaa bas.
tum raho ab ham to apane ghar chale.

My friend, we've seen enough fine sights,   through which we loved to roam.
You stay on to enjoy them; we are ready to go home.


``dard'' kuchh maaluum hai yah log sab.
kis taraf se aay the kIdhar chale.

Ah! Dard! Just see those people here
  to whom once life was lent.
But can you tell me whence they came?
  Do you know where they went?
