About me

My name is Mikhail Strizhov.
I received a Ph.D. in Computer Science in Summer 2016 from the Computer Science Department, Colorado State University. I worked with Dr. Indrajit Ray in DBsec research group. I got my B.S. in 2008 and M.S. in 2010 (both in Applied Mathematics and Physics) from Samara State Aerospace University, Russia.

My research interests are generally in the area of Computer and Network Security and Distributed Systems. More specifically, I am interested in following topics (to name few):
  • Secure Protocols
  • Secure Data Outsourcing
  • Applied Cryptography
  • Cloud Security
  • Large-Scale Internet Systems
  • Future Network Architectures
Currently I am busy at Space Monkey, Inc., where I do exciting work in the areas of distributed filesystems and cryptography.
