Sheltie Rescue Pointers
| Rescuing an adult dog who has fallen on hard times is a special priveldge. Our first Sheltie Max was a true rescue dog in the sense he was surrendered to an animal shelter in Denver. Our second Sheltie Tucker was a bit unusual, His original owner did Sheltie rescue and indeed helped us adopt Max. When she could no longer keep Tucker, he came to us at age 6.
Here are some pointers to learn more about Sheltie Rescue: Of course, there are many other adult dogs out there looking for help, so I would be remiss in not also suggesting your local Humane Society! |
