My research is in solving hard problems by adding learning components to existing approaches. For me, this usually means adding artificial neural networks or other numerical methods to model the existing solution or to discover new solutions via reinforcement learning. Also see my Google Scholar entry, my Research Gate entry, and the summary of the artificial intelligence program at Colorado State University.

Research Pantry
This is a wiki of research ideas, papers, and code. The wiki is like a pantry of perserves; things I want to keep around in an easy-to-find fashion so they don't spoil.Active Projects
