Testing

There are different types of testing that will occur in this class. Each is described below:

Quizzes

  • Quizzes. There will be several quizzes given during the semester.

    • On-line quizzes. On-line quizzes are given using RamCT. Each quiz covers the material presented in a chapter. For each quiz, each student will have 15 minutes to answer 10 questions, usually multiple choice, true/false, or matching. These quizzes are open book, and may be taken as many times as the student wishes - only the best score will count. These chapter quizzes are due by classtime on Tuesday.

    • In class quizzes. There will be occasional in class quizzes given over the lecture material.

Exams.

  • Midterm 1 (week 6) will cover chapters 1-5.
  • Midterm 2 (week 11) will cover chapters 6-9.
  • Final exam (week 16) will cover chapters 10-13 plus the previous chapters.
